Iron Man
The Marvel Comics superhero Iron Man made his debut in 1963 when the Vietnam War was just getting started. The main character, Tony Start, a wealthy playboy and engineering genius of his own weapon manufacturing and development company, develops an advanced suit of armor which we uses to thwart evil. The Iron Man series started with Tony Stark, visiting Vietnam to how his new weapons were working. He then encounters and ambush where he is wounded and captured by the enemy. Forced to build weapons, he makes an advanced suit of armor instead which is equipped with different weapons to help him escape.
The recent Iron Man movie, which was released 1st of May 2008, kept the audience at the edge of their seats with its gadget-filled, high-flying fire fights. Although the movie trailed off a bit from the original setting of the comic book, the general idea was still there. From the capture of the main character, Tony Stark, which is played by actor Robert Downey Jr., to the developments of the famed suit of armor that makes him Iron Man. Like many comic book superheroes that find their way to the silver screen, a little twist and a little addition to the classic story makes the movie much more exciting. So for all you Iron Man junkies out there, or if you just love gadgets, this movie has ’satisfaction guaranteed’ all over it.
